HASA, Inc. to Provide Sales & Marketing Support to Unicel for the Pool and Spa Industry
SAUGUS, California, August 6, 2018 – HASA, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of high quality water treatment products, announced that they have entered into an agreement with Meissner Mfg. Co., Inc. (dba Unicel) to represent Unicel replacement cartridges and grids to the swimming pool and hot tub industries. With this agreement, Hasa’s industry leading sales and marketing team will support and promote the Unicel brand in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas.
Headquartered in Chatsworth, California, Meissner Mfg. Co., Inc. is a manufacturer of high quality replacement filter cartridges and D.E. grids. In 1972, small 6 square foot cartridges were the standard. Working with Purex, Meissner pioneered a large 33 square foot filter cartridge -- the first of its kind. Later, 3 units were manifolded together to create a 100 square foot filter, another first and the catalyst for industry wide change.

Hasa will act as the sales representative for Unicel and will call on both distributors and dealers. They will also support the Unicel brand at tradeshows and table tops. Hasa will assign approximately a dozen sales representatives to cover the Unicel territory.
