Why HASA Sani-Clor?
Only Hasa’s sodium hypochlorite is PYRIGINfree™. Free of metals and other particulates that steal the sodium hypochlorite’s effectiveness, as it sits in the bottle or tank. PYRIGINfree™ slows the decomposition and guarantees that Hasa will deliver a product at full strength.

Why Filter Liquid Pool Chlorine?
Hasa uses the Powell filtration system that removes nearly all particulates from sodium hypochlorite, down to .2 micron, including metals such as nickel, iron and copper. You may wonder why such a pure product is preferable for use in a swimming pool. The impurities in a gallon of liquid chlorine do not amount to anything significant when diluted in 20,000 gallons of pool water. But it’s not really about the impurities going into the swimming pool, it’s all about what impurities do in the bottle.
Filtering liquid chlorine ensures you get a full strength product every time, a product that you can rely on.
....it’s not really about the impurities going into the swimming pool, it’s all about what impurities do in the bottle
Decomposition
All sodium hypochlorite decomposes, a fact that all bleach manufacturers battle. Light, heat, organic matter and heavy metals such as copper, nickel, and cobalt accelerate the rate of decomposition, contributing to the loss of sodium hypochlorite strength and the formation of oxygen. Loss of available chlorine through decomposition means using more product to achieve the same level of disinfection.
By removing all of these impurities, Hasa produces PYRIGINfree™ liquid chlorine that slows the rate of decomposition and extends the time in which you have high strength product in the bottle.
Price vs Cost
What you pay for chlorine is not necessarily your cost. PYRIGINfree™ Hasa Sani-Clor liquid pool chlorine is consistently 12.5% when you pour it out of the bottle. If it’s not Hasa PYRIGINfree™ liquid chlorine, how much is your chlorine really costing you?
Take into consideration the available chlorine in each pound or gallon and the price of the different types of chlorine. The actual cost for active chlorine may surprise you!
Salt Chlorine Generators & Liquid Pool Chlorine
There isn’t a better shock for pools using a salt chlorine generator than sodium hypochlorite. Hasa PYRIGINfree™ liquid chlorine is the fastest shock available. The only byproduct after the chlorine is used is a small amount of salt which is needed by the cell to generate more chlorine. No calcium byproducts to scale the salt cell as with calcium hypochlorite.
Over Conditioning Leads to Out-of-Shape Pools
Too much cyanuric acid (conditioner) is detrimental to the health and safety of a swimming pool. At high concentrations, cyanuric acid adversely affects the saturation index and slows the reactivity and increases the time it takes for chlorine to sanitize. For every pound of dichlor or trichlor you dissolve in a pool, you’re
adding over 1/2 pound of cyanuric acid. When elevated, high cyanuric levels eventually lead to partial draining or dilution of the pool water.
